Alibaba Import Extension: There’s a plugin / module that lets you input an Alibaba URL or supplier feed so you can import product data (title, description, images, price). Without that, you’ll be manually copying content.

Inventory & Price Sync: Able to update quantity and price automatically, or via cron jobs / scheduled tasks.

Order Handling / Fulfillment Workflow: Since Alibaba suppliers often require prepayment, longer production/shipping times, etc., you’ll need to ensure the system can record status, send notifications, possibly send orders to supplier or generate a purchase order.

Supplier Communication / Variants: Handling product variants (size, color, etc.), and being able to adjust images / descriptions / packaging, etc.

Shipping / Lead Time Display: Be transparent with customers about estimated delivery times, and possibly different shipping costs if supplier is far or slower.

Hosting Resources & Performance: If your catalog grows to hundreds or thousands of products, ensure hosting (CPU, RAM, caching) is sufficient, regardless of which cart you use.
