The Student Store is a student-driven project where creativity and compassion come together. Every item sold is sources and managed by students who are learning real-world business, marketing, and financial skills through hands-on experience in our Project-based ‘Business in Practice’ elective.
All proceeds go toward funding new student-led initiatives and supporting schools and children in need. Each purchase helps students grow as innovators, leaders, and changemakers — turning education into action and learning into impact.
Our Story

The Item Shop is a for-profit charity company that primarily focuses on selling electronic accessories and pet-related products, with our aim to donate 100% of our profits to fund schools and education centers in need. Our company, in Dalian, China, possesses a multicultural and ethnically diverse team, allowing us to have unique ideas and methods to help these schools in need.
Our purpose is simple, we try to make the world a better place by supporting schools that need help. We use our profits to give them better opportunities and stronger support. Even if we cannot fix everything, we hope to make their day a little brighter and show them that someone truly cares.
We are donating our profits to charity projects that improve mental health and English education to a local charity high school that provides free schooling for 40 financially challenged students per year. Some are orphans, while others have families that faced severe accidents, which created problems for children in need of proper education and shelter. They are less likely to reject help from us, peers, and people who sincerely wish to provide concrete support for their overall well-being and future goals.
We do all this by advertising on our social media platforms, posting funny and engaging content that helps direct customers to our website, where all products advertised are available and for an affordable price.
